2 States - Probably the most faithful Chetan Bhagat adaptation till now. However, that doesnt necessarily mean its as good as the book. What looked good on pages, doesnt look that good on screen. The first half is good, though. The IIM scenes are enjoyable. We finally get to see our Krish & Ananya from the book, and how! Arjun Kapoor & Alia Bhatt look really good together. But the post-IIM part starts out good, drags a little bit in the middle, but then, picks up the pace again in the end. Music is good. But doesnt actually stay with you after the movie is over. Overall, however, its a good weekend flick. If youre a fan of the book, youll not be disappointed. 3/5
