2 Years ago today my Mom went to be with the Lord in Heaven. The scripture says to honor your parents. It doesnt say to honor them only if they are alive on earth or if they were only good to us. The reason is they are still alive in his presence and it says a lot about us if we choose to show honor for their place in our lives. Its also the 5th commandment which shows how strongly God himself feels about it. My mom led a difficult life. But she finished out strong in her latter years and I was blessed to be a part of it. Today I honor her memory and the gift she was to this world. If your parents are still among you today or have passed on; Tell them you love them. Honor God by Honoring them.
