2 arrested off North Laurel Road: Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Kyle Gray arrested two individuals on US 25, approximately 5 miles north of London on Thursday afternoon November 13, 2014 at approximately 4:05 PM after investigating the driver of a red Dodge journey that was blocking a driveway off N. Laurel Rd. The driver was apparently passed out behind the wheel of the vehicle and it took Deputy Gray several minutes to awaken the driver. An investigation of the driver and passenger determined that both were under the influence and both were arrested and are identified as: the driver-- Robbie Vaughn 41 Lily Rd., Lily charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – second offense and the passenger – Debra Vaughn age 33 of Lily Rd., Lily charged with public intoxication – controlled substances.
