2 arrested off Rita Lane in southern Laurel: Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Tyler Morris along with Deputy Mikey Ashurst and Deputy Brandon Broughton arrested two individuals on Rita Lane, approximately 10 miles south of London early Sunday morning November 30, 2014 at approximately 12:50 AM. Arrested was James Steele age 19 Of Rita Ln., Corbin charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for leaving the scene of an accident. Also arrested was Cassandra Steele age 25 also Of Rita Ln., Corbin charged on a Knox County bench warrant of arrest for forgery of a prescription – first offense.
