2 big sleeps until Quilts on the Downs, over 100 quilts will be on display, with 20 being Chris Jurds from Patchwork Fundamentals. This is a perfect opportunity to see so many quilts at any one time from such a talented quilter as Chris Jurd. Patterns from Chris wonderful collection of quilts will also be available to purchase. It has been a very busy week leading up what I feel will be a great quilt show. I would like to add what talented quilters we have in Windsor Downs and this will be the only opportunity to view these quilts. Do not forget also that we have the very talented Marg Low, who will be here, selling her designs, books and patterns. Our stall holders are starting to arrive and set up and oh my goodness, I need courage to resist the wonderful items that are for sale. Viv s heritage sewing collectables are one of a kind and hard to source in Australia, And Viv has a wonderful array of memorabilia on hand. Shanes Patchwork Addiction will have an array of fabrics and patterns for sale. Aster has a lifetime collection of vintage linen and handmade items. We also have a CWA attendant Dorothy with handmade items. Virginia will also have lots of sewing goodies for sale and last but not least, Heathton Creations has fabric, bric a brac, handmade items, books, jewellery, Xmas decorations as well as patchwork magazines. So come along have a great day, enjoy lots of homemade goodies, retail therapy, and viewing of some wonderful quilts. By attending you will also be supporting a worthy organisation, Saffy Rescue
