2 die as car hits truck on Yamuna e-way. NOIDA: Two people died while another two were critically injured in an accident on the Yamuna Expressway on Thursday when a Ford Figo car crashed into a truck. Police said the incident took place near the Yamuna Expressway zero point. The deceased have been identified as Vishal Ahuja and Sumit, while their colleagues Saurabh and Ankit were critically injured. The four people are engineers working with a company in Sector 62 in Noida and live in Pitampura in north Delhi. Police said that the four did not even complete their journey to Agra and had returned from the Jewar toll plaza. "On Wednesday night the four had left for Agra, but decided to return from the Jewar toll plaza due to some problem. The car was driven by Sumit while Vishal was sitting behind him. The incident took place at 4am near Chooharpur village, which comes under Kasna police station. Their car rammed into a stationary truck near the zero point," said a senior cop. "We have lodged an FIR. The truck driver is absconding. We have shared the truck registration details with the transport department and a manhunt has been launched to nab the accused," the officer said.TOI
