2 dogs URGENTLY NEEDING FOSTER HOMES 1. HONEY is a very gentle female lab mix, petite and very very pretty. we know her well because we have been hiking with her in the hills every week, sometimes several times a week. we all adore her but she is SO shy. she will get close enough to hug, be pet and show back some affection. but often she will stay out of reach. a sparkle in her eye and very playful though. we took Honey out of that mountain shelter because we know that without the stability of a home, she will never develop enough confidence with people and thus never get adopted. so we decided to give her a chance and one of our volunteers foster homed for period. she found Honey was easy to house-train, good on a leash and very good about other dogs theyd meet in the street or at the park. also was okay about sleeping in a crate. but Honey was still extremly shy so we decided to invest some time with Maria Jose our dog behaviourist. Honey had a week with her and MJ says shes ready for a foster home. so we are looking for a special person or family to take on this task, which is the task of bringing this super shy female out of her shell. she needs exercise, structure and affection. please please let us know if you can help. MJ will give you some good instruction about her and youll get her advice and help at any time during the foster period. we know Honey can be a fabulous family dog. 2. ABBY. poor Abby had to be added to our shelter and she was terrified of all the big playful dogs and some of them started picking on her. theres no way we can put her back. she is at our vet being treated for a bite wound that became infected. she urgently needs a foster home. she is really really gentle and sweet. zero aggression in this girl. playful and loving. she is not big but she has long legs. she loves to run and jump. would be a great playmate for your children or other resident playful dog. Abby is used to living in a home so she should be easy to teach the ways of your own home. please please can you help us care for this fragile female. currently at our vet Bazar Animal on El Rodeo 13.262. she will need a place to go by Friday.
