2 held with grenades in Kupwara => Kupwara police arrested two person while roaming at Sumo Stand, Kupwara and recovered two hand grenades from their possession. Abdul Rouf Badder son of Abdullah Badder and Zafar Iqbal Badder son of Sulaiman Badder residents of Amrohi Karnah were arrested by Kupwara police at Sumo Stand, Kupwara.During their search two hand grenades and some suspicious powder was recovered from their possession. A case FIR number 153/2013 under section 7/25 A. Act, 8/20 NDPS act was registered in this regard. 2 Die, 4 Injured in road mishaps =>Two persons died and four others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. A Maruti Car bearing registration number JK02AT/ 1075 collided with a Tipper bearing registration number JK03/1604 at K.P Road Paibugh, Anantnag, in the jurisdiction of police station Mattan, resulting in injuries to Farooq Ahmad Mandoo son of GhulamQadir resident of Bijbehara, Parvaiz Ahmad Bakshi son of Abdul Aziz resident of Akingam and Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh son of Abdul Aziz resident of Zirpora. All the injured were shifted to hospital, among them Parvaiz Ahmad Bakshi succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital. A case has been registered in this regard. In another accident, a Sumo bearing registration number JK15/2243 hit and injured Hadiya Maqsood daughter of Maqsood Ahmad resident of Aham Sharief at Pethkoote, Bandipora, in the jurisdiction of police station Pethkoote. The injured succumbed to her injurieson way to Sub District Hospital, Bandipora. A case has been registeredin this regard. In another accident, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK09/1266 hit and injured a pedestrian Zareefa wife of Ghulam Mohammad Sofi resident of Sohipora at Kupwara. The injured wasshifted to Bone and joints hospital, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. In another accident, a Maruti Car bearing registration number JK04B/4061 hit and injured a pedestrian Raja Begum wife of Manzoor Ahmad Kanth resident of Khumani Chowk at Khumani Chowk, Budgam in the jurisdiction of police station Parimpora. The injured was shifted toSKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
