2 questions. .. First... Can anyone trek me anything about this CI pan? It was given to me over 20 years ago by my mother in law a couple of years before she passed. I think she said it had also been handed down to her. Second question .... It appears to have baked on layers that dont come off. I was told that was layers of seasoning by someone many years ago. To my knowledge this plan has never had soap used on it. Just scraped, boiling water on stove top rinsed out, dried stove top then grease added then wiped out. Should I be caring differently for this pan?
