2 things. 1st - Swell in Currumbin... anyone want to come this evening & check out the cool arts on the beach into the night with the bright moon light - how romantic - I know ! haha We will be down there from around 4/4.30pmish 2nd - Camping - you may or may not know that Im an Owner member of Organic Farm Share... Since starting this buyers group I have not really been buying from the farm except the odd once or twice... However, these guys are now offering out to friends & family with the potential of becoming owner members... This is really of no benefit to me, as such... however, I do love the Farm, and what it stands for. Had they been up & running sooner Im assuming that we would have never started the buyers group... So, would any of you be interested in going camping on the farm, and working on the farm also ? Im sure there is always work to be done, and it is a beautiful property (like heaven on earth actually) we have been out on a working bee in the past... I have yet to talk to anyone at the office but I thought I would get numbers & approx dates to discuss anyway... so if there is like say 5 of us then obviously it would be less impact than 12 of us as families if you know what I mean, and if there were 12 families that wanted to then I would simply ask the question anyway & see if it was possible... There is a beautiful Dam & Creek on the property, no amenities (maybe toilets - I forget) but there is a hotel if we want to have showers that I believe would be reasonable rates to use if we wanted too... As for me, Im okay getting a little stinky once in a while... or washing in a creek... esp, if doing some work... I need to ask a few questions... with school holidays coming up other families that are owner members may have prebooked in, to camp out there.. Anyhow, just checking what dates suit you, even an extra long weekend if you & your family can take a Friday & Monday off... Say from the 11th - 14th of October ?
