2 things I noticed with my Volt , a couple of days back I had parked got the charge cable and plugged in , but the cable was not resting on the ground between the wall and my car, I had parked the car a little further away than usual, I got in the car intending to move forward a foot or two, tried to out the car in drive from park, the shift was locked, so we cant move the car when its plugged in , such a good idea, secondly I accidentally put my car in reverse when I was doing 45 !!!!! (what happened next ?) A message briefly flashed on the screen that said 45 is the maximum speed , that was it , the car just carried in as normal , try doing that with a conventional gearbox .
