2 things to change in the mindset of Thai people I think. For the elite : you cant let poor people without the perspective of a real bright future forever . Time to care for your unfortunate brothers and sisters a little bit more before another populist asshole uses it to his advantage . Invest in education, education and again education or this country will be screwed if we keep having 60 per cent of uneducated people who are only good at being security guards , maids, waitresses and taxi drivers . For the poor : a better prospect in life goes though education, education and education. Work hard at school , dont send your daughters to go-go bars and dont drink the money that could be used to send your children to more education. See the long-term ( your educated children ) not the short term ( the freebies of Thaksin )
