2 weeks ago Schiller Woods became Warrior Country. We came together as one and celebrated 4 years of memories. We renewed old friendships and created new ones! We prayed, danced, ate, and with the balloon release we remembered our friends and classmates that will forever be in our hearts. As I look at the pictures, videos and the sea of Green & Gold, the one word to I could use to describe our fellowship would be JOY!!! This fellowship has allowed us to meet other Alumni from all classes and share memories that only a Warrior can tell. On behalf of the Officers & Board of Directors of the Westinghouse National Alumni Association, we have to thank Treasurer Wanda Crump-Hill 80; Sheila Strowder 86; Faye Stevens 90 for their assistance in setting up the membership area. Jurea Willliams 89 and everyone who assisted in the water balloon toss and sack race for our Baby Warriors. The Class of 90 who donated the soccer balls and volleyballs. And, Michael Frazier 76 who won the split-the-pot raffle and as he said took care of the House by donating his winnings back to the Association. And, Shawn Walker 91 our Board Member who coordinated the activities and donated the signage for each class! Special shout out to Patricia Collier-Showers 76 who was 1st to pay her membership dues for this year. For everyone who paid their dues, THANK YOU. To everyone who came back home from out of town, we thank God for His travelling grace & mercy. I know I probably missed someone but charge this to my head and not my heart! Know that I love each and everyone of you! If you havent paid your annual membership ($15) dues, we still need you.You can mail your check or money order to the school: Westinghouse College Prep 3223 W. Franklin Blvd., Chicago, IL 60624.
