2 year old Diarmuid is on tonights kill list and whats worse is he is New Hope Only. So we not only need a foster or adopter but a New Hope Partner to save him before it is to late.... A volunteer writes: Hello Handsome!!! Absolutely striking in his lush auburn coat with one blue eye and one auburn eye, D (for short) is simply stunning. With a personality to match his unique good look, D is fun, engaging, playful and affectionate. Likely housetrained, D takes care of business the moment were out the door and we head to the park. He pulls on the leash so will benefit from a harness and/or leash training, but his good humor and wagging tail are so engaging all is forgiven. His weight is perfect for his size, his nails are trimmed, his teeth clean and white; he has clearly enjoyed the benefits of home living prior to joining us as a stray. D doesnt mind being tethered for photos and does a head tilt thing when I make kissy noises at him. Love that! Enjoying the company of fellow canines he did well in his doggie play group with both males and females. Off leash in the backyard he stood at the gate watching another play group, tail wagging wishing he could join in. While hed join me on the bench for some hugs and kisses, hed dash off again to check out the group. Active, energetic and loving, D is looking for a new family to love.
