2 years. It has been almost 2 years since I came back from Curacao. Time to reflect: My reason for coming back was money. I had too much costs still in Holland so I decided to clean house and come back. Make money was the plan. From the bat, it didnt guite go as I planned. I had to start from scratch. Back to living with my parents, on welfare. How do I reflect on the past two years? It has certainly been a struggle but you know what they say. It is the difficult times that make character. How will I remember it? I will remember it as a test of character. So many times I have questioned my ways, I have been tempted to venture back in to my old life but everytime with no exception has the answer been: I rather struggle with the chance of obtaining my dream than take the easy way and get stuck in a life where my soul slowly dies. You mind think I am crazy, naïve, romantic, or whatever but my life is my choice and I believe firmly that there is way of things and that this is my way. To what? Who knows. How do I see the next 2 years? As an adventure. Discovering more of myself, meeting new people, doing new stuff. I feel like I have only scratched the surface, that the beast is still in the cage and that there is so much more to come. So on that note I say to you: cheers to you, cheers to a new day, a new week. Hope to see you on my adventure.
