2 years ago Tray Bien and Monnize Sobrinho came over to my house. I pulled an Isaac Hayes song, sampled it and came up with the hook. Tray and Monnize then wrote the lyrics and melodies. I then got my man John E Cab from Philly to assist in engineering the production. We then took it to the studio and added live percussion with live musicians. That same night, Tray and Monnize laid the vocals. A few weeks later, Me, Tray, Monnize, Ivan Sumlin and D.j. Granger drove to Baltimore to shoot this video. We spent the whole day at various locations in Baltimore shooting the video. The next day we drove to Washington D.C. To finish shooting this video, and also shot the video for School of Athens Republic. D.J. (Silverdrop) did an amazing job. We all did on this track. Check it out.
