2 years ago today the earth lost an Angel that was called back to Gods kingdom, my nephew, my godson, my Archangel Anthony Vargas other than my junior the only person Ive ever named any of my sons after, may you rest in paradise I love you with all my heart till we meet again. Thank you for looking over me and the family. My eulogy to Anthony. My nephew Anthony was wise beyond his years! he had purpose and direction in life he was goal oriented he even had his goals posted on a board in his bed room he had a great character and virtues a lot of grt men in history never had, he was humble, compassionate, caring, considerate, courageous, forgiving, friendly, generous, gentle, helpful, honest, had integrity, joyful, kind, loving, loyal, modest, patient, peaceful, reliable, responsible, thankful, trustworthy, understanding, strong, respectful, those are virtues only righteous men have and that’s just to list a few. I always preach to people about the importance of having great Character and Integrity which my godson had in abundance there people who lived a full lives and had everything they wanted in life but will never be half the character my godson was at the young age of 21 years old, he truly was wise beyond his years. Even on facebook where young people his age an even grown folks now a days go to complain, talk about drinking and smoking, gossiping, fighting not Anthony even on facebook were he had an audience of his friends his age he showed his great character and integrity, I’m gona quote a couple of things he posted on facebook 1/7/13 Cherish the loved ones who have your back at all times, eventho you may bump heads with one another dont let them go thinking you didnt care, because tomorrow is never promised. So to all the people I care for and who care for me I love you all and appreciate you. 1/9/13 God puts good people in our lives for a reason, so treat them right cause if you dont he can take them out of our lives just as easy. Like I said the kid was wise beyond his years. Looking back at my godsons character and his life I have to truly say I was am and will always be honored to be his godfather, im honored to be his uncle, im honored and thankful to God for allowing me to have the honor to have such a beautiful person be part of my life. A big part of who Anthony was as a person has to do with the great upbringing he had the great job my brother Luis and sister in-law Michelle did in raising him you guys did an awesome job so you can hold your heads up high knowing you guys raised a awesome a righteous young man and like I said before there are very few people who can say that. I applaud you guys and give you all the respect in the world for the awesome job you did in raising Anthony. I know its sad and hurts to know he’s going to be greatly missed that his person will no longer be here physically with us but he’s here with us today and forever will be with us in spirit. God needed a great angle at his side one that held all those great virtues Anthony had and I know he chose Anthony because there isnt to many people walking this earth with all the great virtues my godson had. It gives me joy to know he had all those great virtues, and that he grew to be a great man he was an Angel here on earth and will be an even greater Angel in heaven with God. My brother said it best everybody loved Anthony! There was always such a great aura around him, that kid touched everybody he met with his humble, loving joyful way of being and with that smile only an angel could have. My mom said she was thankful and feels a peace in her heart that she was able to spend the weekend before his passing at my brothers house with Anthony and the family she said now looking back he would always smile at me, as I was walking up the stairs he smiled at me and when I reached the top of the stairs I looked at him again and there he was still looking at me with that beautiful smile I felt as if he was an angel, and that was because of the pure heart, loving, caring, kind humble person he was. Anthony is now our families arch Angel watching over us giving everybody hes touched in his life strength and comfort in knowing that sorrow and heavy feeling we get in the depths of our chest that we think is hurt and pain, he wants us to know he never has nor ever will cause us pain or hurt and he doesnt want us especially his mother and father that he loves soooo much to suffer he wants us to know those deep feelings in our hearts is because we know were gona miss him sooo soooo much and those deep feelings in our hearts is a testament to the great love & respect we all have for Anthony and the greater the love the greater that feeling in our heart is gona be and he is honored and smiling down on us from heaven for the great love and respect we all have for him we all need to embrace and honor that great love were feeling in the depths of our hearts and cherish it for ever in his memory! Anthony lived his live here on earth as a great, humble, righteous young man and I truly pray that everyone he has touched in his life here on earth will learn from him for I believe that was his purpose here on this earth. So the best way to honor Anthony is to learn from his great virtues and his righteous way of living. Learn from my godson to be humble, to be forgiving and kind to one an other, not to let hate or personal feeling keep you from being understanding and compassionate, being considerate and caring for others, being friendly, being generous and helping others, being gentle and loving to one an other, being thankful for what you have, being honest and trustworthy, being respectful to everyone, and in his own words “treat the people God put in your lives right cause if you dont he can take them out of our lives just as easy”. “Cherish the loved ones who have your back at all times, eventho you may bump heads with one another dont let them go thinking you didnt care, because tomorrow is never promised. So to all the people I care for and who care for me I love you all and appreciate you”. Those were Anthony’s owns words, So lets honor Anthony by learning those life lessons he showed us through the way he lived his life and become better mothers, better fathers, better husbands, better wife’s, better sisters, better brothers, better aunts, better uncles, better cousins, better friends, better human beans, because that’s a gift Anthony had and a gift he would love to share with us so please don’t take it for granted and truly and humbly try your best to apply those gifts to your lives, that would make Anthony happy because he knows life would be so much better for each and everyone of us … Anthony, I love you with all my heart Godson, until we meet again in the kingdom of God....
