2 years ago today we all lost someone extraordinary. Luke was a person with untold potential to make the world a better place and had an ability to positively impact those around him that could only be described as special. He could light up any room like no other and he never left a single person without a conversation and a story. Luke’s passion and happiness for others is something that people who knew him will be trying to capture for the rest of their lives. He was such an incredible person, taken too soon. I have two songs for you today big guy. The first was always one of our crew’s favorites, regardless if we were making fun of your door knob steering wheel or just lounging out on the boat. It’s hard to believe that some terrible Dorrough song can have such a place in my heart this many years later, but it’s attached to some damn good memories my brother. The other is less obvious but I’ll keep some of that between you and me. Although time has passed and many more years will come, there will always be those days where I think back and can’t help but feel like a part of me will never be the same without you.
