2 years ago tomorrow a 21 year old named Julia came into my life. As I was dying from liver & kidney failure, she was tragically struck by a car and killed. She was a registered organ donor. A dying baby was at the top of the donor list and a match for Julias liver. I received the balance of Julias liver & 1 of her kidneys. The rest of Julias organs went on to save 7 lives. Below are photos of Julias life, which I celebrate every day. A year ago I met her mother,Tara (pictured below with me). If you are not a registered organ donor PLEASE do so today.
