2 yrs ago today I made a life changing decision! I can not say it has always been easy but it has definitely been worth it! Over the past 2 years, I have discovered: 1. God 1st, Family 2nd, Self 3rd 2. TRUE friends are few and far between 3. Doing the right thing is not always the most fun 3. time spent alone is well needed in order to reflect on whats important and it also allows me to evaluate where I need to make improvements in my life 4. change can not occur without excepting FULL responsibility for MY OWN actions 5. Not everyone is going to understand nor are they going to always participate in my changes.. and that is OK, as long as they respect me and my decision 6. Its OK to remove myself from those who do not respect my decision (life will go on without them). 8. I am stronger than I ever thought I was (I always knew I was hard headed :o) but I did not believe in myself as much as I do today. 9. Self forgiveness - still working on this....I am not sure why it is easier to forgive others than it is to forgive myself. I am not ashamed of my past! I feel rock bottom is a place where you learn to look UP! MORE OF HIM less of me = Proud of who I am today!
