20/20 Vision: Round 1 Here are some ideas that were floated at Monday nights Council meeting (in no particular order) 1) Sister Churches: local, regional, international 2) Strengthen Local Connections: Youth Zone, Community garden 3) Launch healthy meal program (one square meal) from our church house for local public school students 4) Cross-pollinating with neighboring congregations (presbyterian) 5) Add a womans group, dinner gatherings 6) Change the congregational culture (from less passive to more engaged) These are broad and wide….just a beginning. We havent dug into the whys. We havent begin to ponder the deeper culture questions. We havent touched on what depletes us about church What strikes you from the list above? Whats missing?
