20 Pound Challenge - Back To Routine Ultimately I took my vacation time to actually...well, vacation. Other than a light run and a light karate work-out I didnt do any other training. And, if truth be told, I cheated on my diet much more than I expected to. I have no regrets because I feel like I deserved it but the fun is over and now back to business and routine. Today I was back in the gym with Scott at Sandbox Fitness doing upper body. Heres how it looked: A: Barbell push-ups A: Lateral pull downs B: Seated rows B: Cable flies C: Bent over bar bell rows C: Incline dumbell bench press Energy Circuit: military press, bar bell swing, reverser row on the TRX, 15 second sprint on the tread mill. Whole circuit times 5. So in conclusion, my after vacation work-out is simply jumping right back into the swing of it. Thats not for everyone though, as some migh need to be eased back in, and thats okay. Listen to your body and if you feel like you need a few days to get back into your routine before jumping back into your work-outs then do so. I dont have the luxury of time though because labor day is right around the corner and I have a whole week to make up! Do you have a post-vacation routine?
