20 years ago, after a terrible miscarrage, I gave birth to my second baby, Kayla Ann Winters. After problems during pregnancy, problems giving birth, she was here and beautiful! A night of weird pain, a morning of extreme pain, an emergency c-section, she came a month early and ripping her umbilical cord out. I should have known her personality then lol. She walked totally on her own at 9 months old, wore out her 2wheel bike tires(no training wheels) at age 4, taught her sister to in-line skate, and loved her skateboard. Then came band. She wanted to play drums, but was talked into clarinet. Through the years she has blossomed and grown to a wonderful young woman! Now she is in Kent State and moving on to another college in Maine in the fall. She is so loving, giving, fun, smart, articulate,and has a goal for herself. We were blessed to have a wonderful baby and now a wonderful young woman. I love being with her! She has my temper, cleaning habbits, humor, sarcasm, and gets bored after she has mastered something and moves on to learn something new. We have deep talks, crazy open talks, and intellectual talks. Its so great to see her grow physically, intellectually, and maturity wise. I love you Kayla! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
