200 years ago today, Francis Scott Key wrote the one song that can make me cry almost every time I hear it. And a couple of years ago, Madison Rising did this awesome version of it. I have always especially loved the line, ...the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. The reason it means so much to me is that during the dark times, often the challenges, the turmoil and the conflicts provide the illumination we need to see that we still stand strong in the face of adversity. Even ISIS. Even Al Qaida. Even political polarity and political correctness and racism and reverse racism and bad presidents and wars and rumors of wars. For those unaware, that flag is still there... ~ Madison Rising
