2001. Now playing on TCM. This is my all time favorite film, the greatest film ever made, IMHO. Watch it closely. Its almost entirely about eating and sleeping, the Human Condition -- nothing futuristic about that, other than the zero-g toilet -- except when HAL, or that damned monolith, or the requisite plot progression scenes, intervene.
