(2002 impreza outback sport) non turboed 2.5 So ive been having this on going problem where if i try accelerating at high rpms my engine starts missfiring and stalling. Yesterday and the way home it was hot so i had the ac on the whole way home and after about a half hour of driving it started getting really bad. Chugging n the smallest amout of excelleration. So when i got home i quickly replaced the fuel pump. But today i found it didnt fix the problem On a side note i have a quarter tank of gas and the only reason i mention this is because it seams to do alot better with i have a full tank. Also. Possible unrelated the only time i would get a check engine light is ocassionaly when i would let the car warm up in the morning. The code would say missfire in cylinder 3 it only does this after ive driven for atleast 10 min. Probably heat related? Besides the fuel pump. Ive also done the spark pulgs, cables, and ignition coil, fuel filter, timing belt Im check compression and the resistance on the injectors Im really stumped Got any ideas?
