#2002Gujaratriotfact After the train incident in Godhra, Modi had asked for additional law enforcement forces from the three neighbouring states og Gujarat, i.e. Rajasthan (Ashok Gehlot), Maharashtra (Vilas Rao Deshmukh) and Madhya Pradesh (Digvijay Singh) to contain riots. While Congress might keep harping on Gujarat riots for time infinite, none of its three state governments sent reinforcements to Gujarat. Those who blame Modi for the riots should understand this it was a communally very charged situation because 50 people had been burned alive by a mob of over 2000 people, and Modi did not have enough grip on the administration then, as he had just taken in as the CM of the state. In those circumstances, he needed support from the neighbouring states, but not even one of them turned up. They ask Modi to apologise for the riots, why dobt they themself apologise for sending aid to the state? Wasnt this because they wanted to deliberately let Gujarat burn, so that they could prey on minority vote bank by scaring them in the name of BJP? Think rationally, you will get the answer
