2003 I was in rear ended at 55mph, shoved me into another car, ended up with lots of internal damage to my body that no one sees, but I sure feel..to make the story shorter, I had a lot of therapy and a lot of doctors but they just didnt believe me that I had a lot of problems with my hip, besides what happened to my neck..Well finally in 2009 I had to go to Chicago and have surgery on my left hip, they found a lateral tear in the outer muscle, cleaned it up and was pretty good for a couple of years but still have had chronic pain that I finally cant stand anymore...another new doctor and what do ya know wha la! No cartilage between the hip bone, a quarter sized cyst on the upper hip bone and several bone spurs...all caused from trauma and a possible fracture years ago! Now, I am no dummy and can take a lot pain and I just dealt with it, but shouldnt of had to endure this pain for 11 almost 12 years! It sucks! Now I have to have a total hip replacement, I know quite a few of you ladies out there have had one and are great, so did my mom, but my father received the DePuy hip that was not so good, caused him to get pancreatic cancer and cobalt poisoning in his blood stream. He couldnt have it replaced when they had a recall on the hip because his cancer had already spread when they found it...needless to say my father passed away from this....mixed feelings, but way too much damage to go on without it! Surgery is being scheduled for the end of November or beginning of December, I have to go on a trip first! lol
