2003 SUBARU LEGACY ESTATE 2.0L GL AUTOMATIC FIRST 1500 POUNDS DRIVES IT AWAY ONCE ITS INSURED car is located in larkhall south lanarkshire its a nice big all wheel drive car in very good condition given its age it has been really well looked after having the same lady owner for 10 years straight from new prior to myself GOOD POINTS...... MOT till August 2015 (only one advisory OS front gator perishing & is now replaced with a new one) it has just had a mini service carried out by myself with the following work being done this past month.... new oil filter & oil new transmission filter & transmission fluid both front & rear differentials have been drained & new oil put in there also new front brakes & shims fitted (bought the rear ones also however they werent needed so shall include them in sale) it has 5 brand new tyres with under 2000 miles done on the 4 on the car the spare & the spare wheel have never been used it is taxed till the end of January shall let this go with the vehicle so it only needs insuring to drive it away it has 91 000 miles on the clock (but car is being used daily) it comes with a towbar fitted & has not long had a brand new electrics plug fitted which works as it should all door & window seals have been replaced with brand new ones so no leaks at all it is an all wheel drive car with the hill climb gearbox power button / winter button (extra vroom / magically locks all 4 wheels individually for driving on ice & snow) thatcham (MIRRC) category 1 alarm & immobiliser fitted it has 7 stamps in the book with the last main service listed at 74,500 miles there are plenty of receipts for the work that has been done on this car everything works as it should all electrics windows mirrors etc comes with a subaru boot liner french yellow 100w headlights (very bright & cut through fog easier) boot roller cover is present & working PLEASE NOTE: the roof rail cross bars are not included in the sale (sorry need them for replacement vehicle) but naturally the rails shall be left on ; o ) The car averages 52 - 58 miles per 10 pounds of petrol on the motorway (petrol prices at £1.18 a litre at time of fuel economy check) It does 47 to 52 miles about town for the same amount of fuel It tows my box trailer on the motorway 45 miles for the same tenner but drops to around 37 to 40 miles towing it about the streets locally (trailer weighing in at half a tonne) BAD POINTS.... some slight marks on paintwork (age related) dirty big scratch/score to rear bumper area just the paint not the bumper (see pics) the rear seat headrests are awol have been since i bought it (but theres a nice clear view out the rear window without them) it has an aluminium anti scratch plate along the back bumper for when hitching up whatever you are towing this has been fitted to hide where someone has broken off the old electrics plug for the towbar at some point and reversed into a trailer hitch leaving a 2 gouge in the bumper this can be seen from looking underneath the vehicle only hence why I know its there and reason for plate being fitted it is lovely to drive very and will serve someone well this winter and for many years to come being a Subaru these things just seem to keep going and going it has pretty low mileage given it is an 11 year old car the only reason im selling it is I have just bought a freelander as this will suit my work needs better any questions send me a message and ill get back to you as soon as i can no swaps & no silly offers either please cheers
