2004 54 Plate Audi A8 3.0 TDI Quattro, (4WD) 151,000 miles. FSH - Stamped Audi book and old Mots. 10 months MOT. HPI Clear. 2 Keys. 4x nearly new Continental Contacts. Night Blue Pearl / Black leather interior. Pure luxury, with performance and economy to boot! Although it has a few little niggles wrong with it, it drives literally like a -> Nothing major really, Mechanically it is near on 100%, however there are a few marks around the body (see pics) - a bird shit stain on one door, a small bit of laquer peel on top of boot, stone chips to front, and a very small scrape to rear corner. A crack to outer pane of drivers side rear window glass, however as they are two piece laminated together it still works fine. All pretty much consistent with age / mileage. -> The main problem is the stereo doesnt work. I bought the car like this, but havent done anything about it. (The noise of the V6 is enough for me! haha) But from reading up it looks to be either the MMI ecu or the control head, each of which can be bought for around £200 second hand. Because of this the Parking sensors dont work, and neither do steering wheel controls (but trip computer is changed by stalk, and cruise still works) Having said that if your not fussy, I wouldnt bother! It drives A1, and everything else electrical works fine. To summarise: A top spec, fully loaded luxury motor. Drives very very good, pulls like a train when needed with a silky smooth gearbox. Radio/MMI doesnt work, but who needs that when the engine sounds so great! haha. Do not let the mileage put you off, anyone that comes to view will agree it drives so well youd never know it had done 150k! Can get 25-30mpg round town, and up to 50mpg on motorway sitting just under 70mph. Even at 85mph it still returns 44mpg! Reason for sale/swap is I bought this on a whim as I always wanted an A8 D3, I nearly bought one a few years back but bought an S4 instead that I kept for a few years. I need something a bit smaller, the Mrs wont drive this - Updated advert with new pics as promised - Ideally looking for a cash sale now as I have another car I will be sharing with the Mrs. However, I *may* consider certain cars, or cars plus cash my way. Anyway, Car is located in Northamptonshire, and if we swap I am willing to meet halfway. Please dont offer me Cat C, Cat D cars without being honest. If I like it Ill HPI check it, so dont waste your time unless you are honest about everything. £4200 ono! Bargain for a luxury barge! Cheers.
