We are looking for more Positive, Inspirational, Supportive, Fun, Friendly people to move forward with us and help us do our best for our charities and causes this year; Can you help? ..... Community-based Charity 2014/15 Our community-based project this year is Twinkle House in Lancashire. Coming soon – Full details of the amazing work carried out by twinkle house in Lancashire and its surrounding counties. Educational Projects 2012/14 1. Young Fathers. Our Young Fathers Reading Project has expanded and is now active in London, Oxford, Leeds and Liverpool. We are very grateful to Oxford University Press for providing not only the books the children and the young fathers, (some as young as 14 years old) enjoy reading, but also for putting us in touch with amazing authors who have given not only their time to read to our groups, but encourage them to continue reading once they leave our programme. Do you love books? can you help us? 2. Educate before its too late In keeping with our pledge for continued support to cancer based causes throughout the UK and abroad, we are continuing with our Educate before its too late programme. Teaching young girls how to check themselves for first signs of breast cancer. We will be working in conjunction with local authorities throughout the US and the UK and alongside Breast Cancer charities in both countrys. Are you a survivor? have you been touched by Breast Cancer? Can you help? That Little Wish Foundation. Our little wish foundation has also gone from strength to strength this year. We now have enough promises of wishes to keep us going until the end of the Summer 2014 and are optimistic that we will receive more to see us through the remainder of the year. Can you donate a wish? do you know someone who deserves a treat? Pink Chatter Our network group, Pink chatter (business) has had record membership in 2014. We now have awaiting list! Our overseas projects have been reviewed this year. We will continue twice yearly to send soaps, bubble bath and lots of other lovely toiletries to our orphanage in Sri Lanka. Next box being sent June. Any products gratefully received, it is amazing to see the smiles on the young girls faces when the smell the beautiful fragrances to everything we send (we have to package everything up and get it to the couriers by 8th June, so if you can buy a little something for us to send, products need to arrive by end of May). Passionate Pink! Heart Awards 2014 Our Heart Awards will once again be held at the beautiful Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire in December. They will be visiting the projects we have throughout the UK and abroad (Spain and the United States) this has been made possible by two very generous donations. Their flights very kindly donated by Virgin airlines and the hotels by the JJW Marriott Group. Full details of all our projects and events will be available on our website from May 2014.
