2013 Give Back Update: Roice-Hurst Humane Society Lisa and Christopher Boyd and the entire No Coast staff are animal lovers and strong supporters of Roice-Hurst. We cant thank them enough for the fundraisers they have held for us. We also thank them for the opportunity to share information with you on ways you can help Roice-Hurst Humane Society. Shannon Freed, Events Coordinator HERE are several fun ways you can help our furry friends this summer: *THIS SATURDAY, JUNE 28th is the Hawgs for Dawgs poker run sponsored by GJ Harley Davidson. The ride is over the mesa this year and the after ride event is from 12 to 3 at GJ Harley Davidson, 2747 Crossroads Blvd. Everyone is welcome to the after ride event. There will be live music by The Instagators, a BBQ, photo opportunity with Big Rem, one of the worlds largest Great Danes, and Hooters bike/ car wash. All for donations to Roice-Hurst. For more information call GJ Harley Davidson: (970) 245-0812. *The Hooters 4th Annual Golf Fest is Friday, JULY 18th, at the Golf Club at Redlands Mesa. There is a dinner & silent auction at Hooters immediately following the tournament. All proceeds benefit Roice-Hurst. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. (gates open at 6:30 p.m., rain or shine). Families are welcome, with kids 12 and under getting in free. Advance tickets can be purchased at Fisher’s Liquor Barn, Grande River Vineyards, Roper Music, and Roice-Hurst Humane Society (362 28 Rd.). Concert-goers should bring a lawn chair and can purchase dinner catered by Berna B’s, or bring a picnic. No beverages can be brought into the event; wine, soft drinks and water will be available. *The 2nd Annual Roice-Hurst Roundup will be held Saturday, AUGUST 23, at the DoubleTree Hotel at 6pm. Enjoy cocktails, a great dinner, music, dancing, and a silent auction. All to benefit our homeless dogs and cats. Tickets are $60 and will be available closer to the event at Roice-Hurst, Chow Down Pet Supplies, and Fishers Liquor Barn.
