2013 I think it has become neccessary at this point to let the cat out of the bag on the school fees : Student leadership from the various campuses were invited twice for school fees negotiation but none of those sessions yeilded any fruits.. Administration proposed a 20% increament in fees bt student leaders sought to negotiate for a reduction to at most 11% before trashing out some major items that constitute the fees at the various campus level..... However, the Pro Vice Chancellor would have none of that. He constantly ignored our views and sidlined us to the point that he said "he would listen to nobody else but the Central Src President from Nyankpala campus only". Both negotiations therefore did not reach a successful outcome due to the attitude of the Pro Vc.. Student leaders accross the various campuses sent a joint petition to the Vice Chancellor to change the head of delegation on the part of administration or have a discussion with the Pro Vc to change his attitude... The petition has not been responded to yet eventhough the Vice Chancellor promised to act on it.... This is basically why the school fees for 2013/2014 academic year is not out yet......... however, i must add at this point that, between 15 - 20% increament in fees is been proposed for almost all the public universities.
