2013 Toyota Highlander Highlander is Toyota’s midsize - TopicsExpress

2013 Toyota Highlander Highlander is Toyota’s midsize crossover. Based on the Camry platform, it comes standard with 3-row seating and is available with a 187-hp 2.7-liter 4-cylinder or a 270-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine. It’s available in front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Also available is Highlander Hybrid, which competes with Pathfinder Hybrid. Toyota designed Highlander to appeal to buyers who might also consider a traditional SUV or minivan. But it has only limited off-road capability and a lower standard towing capacity than Pathfinder. Pathfinder is a capable SUV that offers a sophisticated 4-wheel drive system with three driver-selectable modes. Pathfinder provides the power, ride comfort, and amenities of a crossover and adds genuine off-road and towing capabilities that Highlander can’t match.
