2013 YOUTH TRAIL CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE PROJECT Garrett Trails and Community Action are seeking crew members to clear and build trails primarily within the Fork Run Recreation Area off Shingle Camp Road, McHenry. Hard working individual must provide their own transportation to and from the worksite; be able to work outdoors; use hand tools; be able to walk or stand most of the day; traverse over rocky uneven ground; be able to carry 25 lbs. over rocky terrain; be interested in learning and able to follow direction and become CPR and First Aid certified. CPR and First Aid classes will be provided. Having an interest in nature, mountain biking, or hiking is a plus. Work hours are 8 am – 4 pm, Monday to Friday starting mid-June through mid- September. Pay is $10.00/hour. Applicants and their household must meet income requirements as determined by Community Action to be eligible. Applicants must be between 16 – 25 years of age.
