2014-06-24 & 2014-06-25 Nearly 100 fabulous young folks from around the nation visited Kinstone Academy of Applied Permaculture this week and offered their help on a number of projects. These students - from a variety of La Sallian high schools - are in the area for a gathering at Saint Marys University of Minnesota in Winona, MN. What a bunch of energetic souls! They heard a bit about permaculture and took a tour of the place and then worked on various projects. They helped apply earthen plaster to the straw-clay cabin, mixed plaster, sifted clay and other materials, weeded the labyrinth and more. A huge THANK YOU goes out to all of them from all of us for freely lending their hands and hearts!
