The essays were competitively evaluated and selections were made accordingly. Our scholarships would not be possible without the hard work of organizations such as the Sault Tribe Golf Scholarship Fundraiser Committee, our generous vendors, and other contributors who have made donations towards our program to make our scholarships available for our students. The Sault Tribe Education Department was able to offer 43 scholarships, which is 11 more than last year; due to a special donation made by Sault Tribe Member Noah Leask, owner of ISHPI Information Technology, Inc. Our Wright Hatch Journalism Scholarship deadline was extended until August 31, 2014. Please visit our website at saultribe in the education section for more information. Our Scholarship Program will be offered again next year. The application packet, scholarship essay topic, and a list of scholarships will be available on April 1st.
