2014 ACT Ohio dog (excluding other species rescued including cats, horses and mini-horses) rescues to date by breed: 23 Pits/Bullies, 16 Terrier-mixes, 10 German Shepherd-mixes, 4 Australian Shepherd-mixes, 4 Pointer/Lab-mixes, 4 Chihuahua/JRT-mixes, 2 Boxers, 1 Pomeranian/Chihuahua-mix, 1 Puggle/Lab-Mix. Many of these dogs had mild to severe behavior and/or health issues and were pulled from some of the worst living conditions you might imagine or moments from euthanasia. So how did all these dogs fare? Well, 97% have been listed as adoptable!!! Unfortunately, 3% were humanely euthanized due to severe medical conditions that caused suffering we had no other means to stop. We currently have 1 dog in our rehab program (Andor), 3 dogs available for adoption (Misty Mae, Sophie and Emmy) while the rest are in loving forever homes!!!! We LOVE what we do out in rural Ohio but we cant do it without your support. To make things easy, we have set up monthly giving levels as low as $5/month (thats $0.16 a day!).
