I would estimate range to be about 20 on a clear path. I wish the range was better. If there is obstructions, not so much. I have just gotten in the habit of putting my phone down next to it and leaving it there.Good quality at the price I paid which it was on sale at that time for around 30 bucks. Not sure I would pay normal price for it, might have to look at some of the other offerings. That being said at 30 I would buy again.This is an excellent product that I use when working or when driving and listening to audiobooks. Devices I used to work through the radio always had problems, but not this device. I rarely play it at loud volume when listening on my iPhone. But I pause my books when using a power saw of course.
