How we handle trials or struggles in life says a lot about what our character is and where/from whom our strength comes from. It is easier for us to stand strong, have a good attitude, smile on our face, and joy in our heart when life is good - but throw a challenge, illness or other obstacle in our path and our true heart beat is shown. James 1 tells us that struggles produce endurance in our faith, & endurance leads to maturity. How did you handle a recent struggle? How did you respond when someone said something against you? Was your attitude, thoughts and actions a display of your faith in Christ? Today accept the challenge to hold your thoughts and actions captive, so your faith and character may increase.
