2014 Galapagos Conservancy Photo Contest I need your Vote! Just heard that three of our photos from our recent Galapagos trip were chosen by the Galapagos Conservancy (galapagos.org/ ) for their 2014 Annual Calendar. My Galapagos Tortoise and Pelican shots will get March and October. Linda’s Marine Iguana photo scored an Honorable Mention for a detail photo in August. Knowing how frequently the creatures of the Galapagos are photographed it was very satisfying that 3 of our images stood out among the 1000 different submissions for the 2014 Galapagos Conservancy Calendar Photo Contest. Even better is that one of my images of a Galapagos Pelican is in the running for the Calendar cover. To get the cover placement though I need your help, the judges couldn’t decide between two images for 2014 Calendar Cover so they are putting it out for a vote on Facebook. If you are so inclined please visit the Galapagos Conservancy’s Facebook page and vote for my Pelican image. Partial credit goes to my lovely wife Linda as she was the first one to spot the Pelican sleeping and I was lucky enough to capture it. Thanks in advance.
