2014 INTER-DEANERY HR EDUCATION/MOBILIZATION December 9-10, 2014 IFI Diocese of Surigao, Cathedral Church The activity started at 8AM with the Opening Liturgy, and thereafter followed with the BTR Presentation of the IFI Bishop of Siargao, Right Revd Romeo G. Tagud. The whole day is scheduled for the various inputs: National Situation and Human Rights [Atty Jose Begil Jr.], Human Rights in Caraga [Revd Richel Navarro], International Humanitarian Law and Philippine Constitution-Bill of Rights [Revd Ariol Liquido] and Para-legal Documentation and Its Uses [Revd Joaquin Estoconing. A workshop session is expected to sum up and enflesh some actions on the various inputs. In attendance are the delegations of the various parishes of the 4 deaneries of the Diocese. Also in attendance are representatives of the various sectors of farmers, workers, fisherfolks, students, professionals and other advocates of human rights in Surigao City and Surigao del Norte. The second day, tomorrow, Dec 10, is scheduled for the mobilization in participation of the multi-sectoral march/rally to celebrate the 66th Anniversary of the International Declaration of Universal Human Rights.
