2014 MASQUERADERS: This email is to inform you of some important dates and a few things that we have going on with One Island Body Paint Band. For many of you, this may be your first time with us, or your first time playing mas, so pay special attention to this note. All Final Payments Due by 9/28 (midnight) Final payments for all costumes, all sections are due on September 28th. You can either pay online or at the One Island Mas Camp located at 2125 Flatbush Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11234. A few costumes are still available. New York Mas Camp will Close 10/5 The mas camp will be open until October 5th. Any remaining costumes can be purchased there. There you can purchase physical tickets for Day Break Miami, Jouvert, Miami Carnival Bus Ride and Sunset on The Beach. If youre in the Tri-State area and need tickets for Tribe Ignite, Black & White or I Am Soca, come see us at the Mas Camp. Costumes Will Be Distributed in Miami at Deauville The Distribution Center, Located in Deauvilles BACCARAT conference room, opens to the public Oct 9th, 10th and 11th You can pick up your costumes, jouvert wristbands and t-shirts Keep an eye out from One Island Band with specific dates and times for each sections costume distribution. Day Break Miami Gen. Admission Tickets $40 for this TICKET only event. The official kick-off to the Carnival weekohhhend is Day Break Miami (A Breakfast Party on The Beach), where everyone is VIP. This will be the hottest pump Miami Carnival Weekend Special guests performances by: 5 Star Akil, Mr. Killa, Sizwe, Young Voice & Peter Wildfire and more. Complimentary mimosas and sangria upon entry. Not to mention the menu: Doubles, bake & shark, bake & saltfish & corn soup PLEASE REMEMBER DAYBREAK IS NOT FREE. Sunset Miami is the Free Appreciation Party for One Island and DJunction Masqueraders Get tickets here. No Civilians in the Band New Rules for 2014 This year, One Island will have Security to keep civilians out.This will provide a better all around experience for Masqueraders that paid money for a costume. If your family, friends, or significant other planned to join you, then we strongly suggest they register for a costume.
