2014, PASTOR E A ADEBOYE IS RIGHT: I remember when I first got to close contact with Dr Myles Monroe...I had been in several meetings in Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David Parish, Victoria Island, Lagos where he was a regular guest minister. Dr Myles always regarded COD as his church in Nigeria..so I heard him several times at close range outside of his books and regular ministry materials..BUT it was only when he was invited to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State that I believe I had a spiritual encounter with his person...In his first time in Uyo as a guest minister for Rev Dr Abel Daminas Power City International..he was ministering and then asked what are we ready to die for, then called for a seed...?. Like many, I had known that he was coming to Uyo and wanted to sow into his life and ministry but I had no money. But I had a book written by my junior brother, Nigerias male two time Olympic Medallist...so when he called for a seed I scribbled something on the first page of the book, and walked up to him as he was ministering at the altar...Every other person was going to drop money at the ground of the altar but I went straight to him and handed him the book...I remember his protocol tried to stop me from giving the book but I gave it by hand..and he said THANK YOU!!..all this was going on while the worship was going on...and I went back to my seat..Pastor Myles FULFILLED DESTINY for a generation of believers.He ran his race and reached a mark..His BOOKS, CDs, Videos etc speak for him even in his death...may the Lord COMFORT those who are left behind on earth with strength and wisdom to carry on the work...
