2014 Reflections- Once again another year has ended and it didnt play fair. if it were fair, I would be thin, rich, retired, and living at the beach with my ass in the sand every sunny warm day. Instead, I am over weight, poor with bills more than income, Teaching in my 38th straight year, and living in Richmond, IN where I thought I would be here 5 years at the max when I moved here in 1977. BUT..... Guess what, I am ok with life not being fair. I have good health with no horrible diseases, I am managing day by day, I still enjoy teaching. I am not ready to stop trying to make a difference in my students lives. I work with a fabulous group of teachers and staff. Richmond is basically a nice place to live. My house is well built and cozy, I have great fur kids that make me feel needed and even in all their badness bring a smile to my face. I am blessed to have a wonderful caring Christ filled family. I have been made a fairy god mother by Allison and Michaeletta. And friends, oh I am so blessed with friends, that would give me the clothes off their backs if I needed them. So I guess I am RICH in all the important things in life. I wish you all a Happy New Year and thank you for being part of my life and making it fair
