2014 Report Nov 17: Everyone must have been praying on Sunday. Sunday was a better day than our last 2 or 3 combined! I will combine Sunday with today to say we had 11 Dogs Escape our local Animal Jail! That is the kind of Monday I like! And, ZERO executions!!! Tomorrow, we will have 24 Dogs and 11 cats available for Parole! We have 18 Dogs and 03 Cats also processed and sitting in Hold cells just waiting for their Lucky Day to come! I do my best to help find the owners. I know that the director is working hard to help the owner of the 2 Labs picked up in Windsor Park area to take them home! thank you to the staff at Columbus Animal Care & Control Center! Now, if we can just get those Offsite Adoption Events to work again, we can see some great Days ahead. Please, if you can find a few hours on a Saturday, contact the Volunteer Coordinator and offer some help. Maybe you can only help transport to and from Broadway St. That is the main issue. getting them there where they can be seen! With the Hold inmates, we have totals of 42 Dogs and 14 Cats for an overall total of 56 Homeless Inmates desperately in need of our help every day.
