2014 as The Year of Fusion! :/ The year 2014 will come to an end in just few more hours. 2014, a year which has been listed as the Worst Year for Malaysians but there’s something to be proud of beyond everything. As the saying goes, “It takes a crisis to bring Malaysians together”, we’ve proven that all our hearts were beating as ONE during all the hardships that we’ve gone thru as ONE. Together we stand,divided we fall.Truly 1Malaysia. Starting off with the Malaysian Aviation Industry which has listed the year 2014 as the Horrible Year of Aviaton in Malaysia. On March 8th,Malaysia were saddened by the news on MH370 which is a Boeing 777-200 bound to Beijing,China from Kuala Lumpur which is owned by the World’s 5* Airlines,Malaysia Airlines has been reported missing with 239 passengers including MH Cabin Crews. Just few months later,there was another tragic event which took place in the Malaysian History involving our national carrier once again. On July 17th,a Malaysia Airlines’s aircraft Boeing 777-200 with the code MH17 bound to Kuala Lumpur from Amsterdam has been said to be shot down on its journey back to home land with 298 passengers including the crew members. And closing the year 2014 with a much heavier heart once again as AirAsia Indonesia which is owned by AirAsia Groups Berhad,Malaysia with the code QZ8501 (Airbus 320-200) bound to Singapore from Surabaya Indonesia has crashed into the Java Sea with 162 passengers on board including crew members on December 28th. Followed by Malaysia’s Worst Flood in the history. 2014 has been a very difficult year for Malaysians as about 200,000 people in the East Coast has been experiencing a massive flood tragedy. 21 people were reported dead and 10 were still missing till today. All that we’ve to do is to atleast sponsor as much as we could to all the victims and to pay tribute to all the volunteers who have been working 24/7 especially our Doctors,Cops,Fire Fighters and the armies. Not only the above mentioned events had took place in our history,but there are many more challenges which we’ve successfully gone through together as Malaysians. These hardtimes have proven that Malaysians will stay united and being there for one another at all times. Despite all those tragic events, look back deep into the hearts and minds of the Malaysians who still love this beautiful country. Thank you so much for all your support and care till today which made us to rejoice that 2014 has also been the Year of the Moderates. There were many achievements which we can be proud of.Firstly,Malaysia were listed in The World’s Top Ten Most Beautiful Modern Cities by the CNN World Travel Magazine and just few hours ago, MALAYSIA took the No.8th spot in the World’s Top 10 Most Visited Cities of the Year. Bravo Malaysia. Thank You For Everything! As we end the year 2014, we hope to see a better year ahead in 2015 where everyone cares for one another not only during hardships but throughout the year,to beat strongly the challenges we might face ahead and we will PREVAIL!
