2014 elections battle of existence for NC and Cong : Mufti Mufti Sayeed Will accommodate suitably Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal in his cabinet ; Mufti MOHD MAJID MALIK BHADERWAH,Nov 21-- Asserting that NC and Congress was facing the challenge of its existence and survival, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Patron Mufti Mohd Sayeed today said that 2014 polls will be the battle of conscious, vision and ideology and those who have sacrificed interest of state and people will vanish from the political horizon of Jammu and Kashmir forever. “The battle PDP is fighting is the battle of ideology, battle of vision and a battle to bring the state of Jammu and Kashmir out of confusion, chaos and underdevelopment”, Mufti Mohd Sayeed said adding, “The election is, however, a battle for existence for the National Conference and Congress in the state as due to failure on all fronts CM of the NC escaped from his home constituency Ganderbal ”.Addressing a strong gathering at Bhaderwah ,PDP patron said that PDP is fight the coming polls for a decisive mandate in its favour, in order to bring a considerable change on governance and development front.“It is for the first time that the people of all the whole state and especially of Chenab valley are collectively looking ahead towards one party, Peoples Democratic Party, with the hope that their areas will be brought out of the economic,unemployment , governance and developmental chaos”, he said.Seeking a decisive mandate to accomplish revolutionary and pro-people agenda Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, said that policies and programmes of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were formulated by incorporating wishes and aspirations of the every section of the society.He recalled that when in year 2002 he becomed Chief Minister of the State had proved how to propagate policies of inclusive growth and development in every region and sub-region. It is need of the hour to give a decisive mandate to the PDP to accomplish the unfinished pro-people agenda , he said.PDP patron reminded the people about various historical steps initiated during his tenure . He pointed out that during PDP led regime a comprehensive blue-print was prepared for socio-economic growth of the residents of Chenab valley . Unfortunately the revolutionary projects started during PDP led regime for the growth and development of this belt were stalled by the present regime without any reason, he regretted and charged Omar Abdullah led coalition which included Congress with implementing unequal developmental policies in the State which ultimately resulted into lopsided growth in Jammu and Kashmir.Give us decisive mandate to properly implement comprehensive development agenda of PDPin whole state , and appealed to the people and said that every vote is required to fulfil dream to establish a new system of justice and equality in . . Reminding the people that it was during his regime that Bhaderwah campus was established and new projects were started and assured to make Bhaderwah campus a full fledged University if he formed government . “Change if the essence of time and it will come but we all have to contribute towards the effective and considerable transformation by ensuring that those who have brought the state at this juncture of quagmire pay the price for mis-governance, nepotism and corruption”, he said.He said that youth have brought a considerable change across the state and the result was evident from the recently concluded parliamentary elections.While seeking vote for PDP candidate Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal , PDP patron Mufti Mohd Sayeed assured to people of Bhaderwah constituency if Mehboob win he will be accommodated in his cabinet suitably and said PDP is going to foprn new government but want decisive mandate as he had bitter experience of collation government . Mufti also assured to make Bhaderwah an independent tourist destination and also assured opening up of Bhaderwah-Chamba and Bhaderwah Bani Basoli road . Meanwhile NC block President Irshad Ahmed Sheikh also joined PDP along with his hundreds of supporters before PDP patron . Pritam Singh Kotwal , Thakur Yudvir Singh , Sant Ram Shaan , Swami Raj Sharma and others also spoke on the occasion .
