2014 has been a bad year for HSUS and the animal rights movement. Failing to win legislative battles in Missouri on Amendment 1, bear hunting in Maine, wolf hunting in Michigan, paying $16 million in settlement money for racketeering, being investigated for deceptive fundraising practices in Oklahoma, the list goes on and on. Protect The Harvest Executive Director Brian Klippenstein recently spoke about this, emphasizing that despite these losses animal rights groups are not going to stop using bullying tactics to attack our food supply and that we need to continue to get the truth out to the masses. brownfieldagnews/2014/12/05/animal-rights-movement-setbacks-2014/
