2014 has been a great year for @RubiesInc.... *Provided mentoring program, services and opportunities for 20 girls with aspirations of becoming a first generation college graduate through the Project 100 program. Participants experience enriching empowerment sessions, college tours, volunteered over 500 hours at community service events and at local charities. *Hosted the No Boys Allowed: Girls Only Conference for 125 area high school and college age girls. *Provided Christmas gifts and toys to 1,025 area families at the annual Unwrap A Gift Holiday Extravaganza *Supported local efforts such as Women of Imagerys Back to School Event, Show Me Shoes Prom Event, Urban Leagues College Send Off and worked with a number of community partners. *Awarded the Black Celebrity Giving Midwest Nonprofit of the Year. *Awarded the EYL Award at the Alpha Kappa Alpha Midwest Region Conference.
